Event on the occasion of the launch of the 7th cycle of the CAPSULE T ACCELERATOR project

The above was stated by the General Secretary of Tourism Policy and Development of the Ministry, Vassia Koutsoukou, who represented Minister Olga Kefalogianni, at an event on the occasion of the launch of the 7th cycle of the CAPSULE T ACCELERATOR programme, an important initiative of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.
Ms Vassia Koutsoukou pointed out the direct economic contribution of inbound tourism for businesses, professionals and public revenues last year, adding that this dynamic continues this year with a clear upward trend in the critical indicators measuring travel receipts.
The General Secretary said that the mission of the “Accelerator”, to build an innovative ecosystem in the tourism sector, through the offer of opportunities for the development of start-up technological businesses, with a variety of applications such as the protection of the natural environment, energy saving, the promotion of Greek culture as a tourist resource, etc. is in perfect alignment with the Ministry of Tourism’s objective for the qualitative development of Greek tourism.
